On the Ford C-MAX, the bonnet release lever may become damaged, making it impossible to open, or the battery may completely discharge, preventing an emergency start. To open the bonnet in these situations, follow the procedure shown in this tutorial. It is recommended to use a tool similar to the one indicated, but if it is not available, a long screwdriver can be used. First, go to the front left side of the car, then slightly lift the bonnet and locate the indicated cord attached to the frame. Grasp it with your hook and pull it outward, thus unlocking the catch.
