Operation: How to open the locked bonnet of the Ford C-Max Mk1?

The guide shows how to open the hood of the Ford C-Max Mk1. The operation will result in the breaking of the front grille of the machine. Using a screwdriver, force on the underside of the grille to make it come out of its seat. With a 10 mm wrench it is necessary to unscrew the two fixing bolts and, with a screwdriver, disconnect the two fixing clips and push the lock assembly towards the inside of the engine compartment. At this point it is possible to disconnect the lock from the cylinder and open the bonnet. Disconnect the lock from the door locking hook and put it back in place. Replace the lock pawl or use a long enough screwdriver to open the lock.
