How to Open the Stuck Bonnet of the Ford C-Max Mk1?

This guide shows how to open the bonnet of the Ford C-Max Mk1. The operation will involve breaking the front grille of the vehicle. Using a screwdriver, apply force to the lower side of the grille to dislodge it from its housing. With a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two mounting bolts, and using a flat screwdriver, disconnect the two securing clips and push the lock assembly into the engine compartment. At this point, disconnect the lock from the cylinder and open the bonnet. Disconnect the lock from the catch of the hatch and refit it in position. Replace the lock cylinder or use a long enough screwdriver to open the lock.
