How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Ford Edge

This video tutorial demonstrates how to replace the battery in the key fob of a second-generation Ford Edge, produced from 2017 to 2020. First, press the emergency key release button located at the bottom of the fob to extract the key. Next, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the space where the physical key was and lever it to remove the rear plastic cover. Now you can see the old battery that needs replacing, so swap it for a new one and reassemble the fob. The required battery is a CR2450 3V.
