The passenger compartment air filter is located on the passenger side, immediately under the glove compartment: in order to reach the air conveyor and therefore the passenger compartment air filter seat, it is first necessary to remove the lining present immediately above the heel strike, which, in order to to be understood, it houses the courtesy light, unscrewing the two plastic ring nuts; once you have reached the seat of the passenger compartment air filter, remove the cap, extract the old filter, make sure that there are no residues of dirt inside its seat and insert the new one (we recommend the activated carbon one) orienting it in the direction of the air flow.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
