How to Activate the Automatic Door Locking on the Ford Focus MK3

In this video, you will learn how to activate the automatic door locking when the vehicle is in motion. This is commonly referred to as "anti-carjacking". Start the vehicle and press the central locking button, located in the centre of the dashboard, three times. Now, turn off the ignition and press the central locking button three times again, with the vehicle off. Restart the vehicle. You will hear a short beep indicating that you are in programming mode. Now, each brief press of the button will activate or deactivate the automatic LOCK function, while each long press will activate or deactivate the automatic UNLOCK function. When finished, turn off the engine. A short beep will confirm that you have exited programming mode.
