How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford Focus?

To replace the timing belt on a Ford Focus, loosen the bolts securing the front right wheel of the car to remove it along with the inner wheel arch cover. Then, open the bonnet to detach the panel on the side of the engine block, locating the underlying belt. To remove it, loosen the central nut of the tensioner pulley, thereby reducing its tension; the new belt can now be fitted by reattaching the tensioner and checking its operation.
