This guide briefly outlines the steps to remove and replace the fuel tank on a Ford Focus. First, lift the vehicle and begin draining the fuel inside by disconnecting the pipe; then unscrew the bolts securing the tank brackets using a socket wrench with an extension, as shown in the video.

At this point, lower the fuel tank from the chassis; you will then have access to the fuel pump. Reinstall the tank by applying the reverse procedure!
