How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford Focus

The timing belt on a Ford Focus can be replaced by opening the bonnet and completely removing the components located to the left of the engine block: when all these components have been removed, you can loosen the screws that secure the left cover of the engine block, accessing the underlying belt arranged around the respective pulleys. By loosening the central nut that secures the tensioner pulley, you can reduce the tension on the belt itself and completely remove it from its seat so that a new one can be inserted.
