In the Ford Edge, it can happen that the trunk door gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the unlock button or the lock actuator. In these cases, it is still possible to perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the rear doors, then we lower the backrest of the sofa by unlocking the respective levers. Next, we go inside the trunk, remove the small door located in the lower central area of the panel, and insert a small flat-tipped screwdriver into the indicated hole. We manually unlock the lock at this point and open the trunk door.
