How to Reset the Oil Change Warning Light on the Ford Transit Custom

This video shows how to reset the oil change warning light on the Ford Transit Custom. This light may remain on after changing the engine oil. The procedure to reset it is very simple and quick. To reset the light, insert the key without starting the engine or the instrument panel. Then, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. While holding them down, turn on the instrument panel and continue to hold the pedals for 20 to 25 seconds. After 25 seconds, release the pedals, then use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the menu. Scroll to the maintenance option, select it with the OK button, then go to the oil life section and check that the reset has been successful, as no warning will appear indicating that the reset has occurred.
