In this video we can see how to reset the oil service light on the Ford Ranger: so we turn on the instrument panel and see that the light comes on immediately. It would be easy to go into the settings, select the "vehicle" option and turn off the light, but in this car this procedure cannot be followed. So we turn everything off, press the start button and press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for 20 seconds. The oil light will briefly come on, and then turn off. We can release the pedals and try to turn off the panel and then turn it back on to verify that the operation has been successfully completed.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
