Resetting the Ford Ranger's Service light

Model: Ford Ranger T6, P375, PX - Years 2011-2023

On the instrument panel of the Ford Ranger, an orange warning light in the shape of a wrench, along with an oil vial, warns us of the need to change the motor oil. Once we have completed the oil change, we must reset the control system. Sitting in the driver's seat, we press and hold down the brake and accelerator pedals, turn the key to the ignition position, after a few seconds the orange warning light will start flashing and then turn off. We turn off the instrument panel and upon the next restart, we can verify the absence of the warning light as proof of the reset.
