As shown in this tutorial, replacing the remote battery in the Genesis GV80 is a very simple and quick task. You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery. To open the remote, first locate the 4 slots along the edges, then insert the tip of the screwdriver into them and pry open the cover. Once fully opened, remove the two small screws from the metal cap and proceed with the battery replacement, making sure to install the replacement in the correct orientation.
