In order to replace the thermostat of the Genesis G80 you have to open the hood, so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: on the left side of the latter it will be possible to identify the passage pipe for the coolant, which must be disconnected by loosening the bolt of its fixing ring. After the pipe has been disconnected, it will be possible to remove the underlying thermostat, which must be removed from its housing and replaced with a new one; after the replacement it will be possible to re-fit the hose and make sure that everything works correctly.
