How to Replace the Oil and Oil Filter on the Genesis G70

To replace the oil and oil filter on the vehicle, follow these steps: Lift the vehicle and open the hood. Then, unscrew the oil filler cap. Locate the access panel under the engine compartment to reach the filter. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the oil filter, making sure to place a container to catch the used oil. Remove the filter from its housing and take the new filter (always check the filter specifications to ensure compatibility with your vehicle). Replace the o-ring on the filter cap and install the new filter in the housing. Next, locate the oil drain plug on the side of the oil pan and unscrew it, waiting for all the oil to drain out. Then, screw the plug back in and reinstall the filter cap. Finally, close the access panel and refill the engine with new oil.
