How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a GMC Sierra?

To replace the fuel filter on a GMC Sierra, first open the fuse box in the engine compartment to disconnect the relay that controls the filter operation. Once the relay is removed, access the underside of the vehicle, in the area between the front and rear doors. Here, disconnect the hoses connected to the filter so that it can be removed from its housing. After the filter is removed, install the new one by reassembling all the parts that were removed.
