Thanks to the following guide, you will finally be able to replace the small button battery inside the smart remote of your second generation GMC Terrain (2018-2023) completely on your own and correctly. First of all, you need to remove the emergency physical key contained inside the cover, then use a flat screwdriver to remove the back cover of the remote and have access to the exhausted battery. Remove the old battery and insert a new compatible one, then reassemble the cover and insert the emergency key.
