In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the lock cylinder in the Honda Civic, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will be working, then we locate the small plastic cap placed along the inner edge, at the same height as the lock, and remove it. We then unscrew the bolt that has just been released using a 10mm socket wrench, being careful not to drop it, insert the key into the cylinder and remove it from the door. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
