In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the lock cylinder in the Honda Civic, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then locate the small plastic cap along the inner edge, at the same height as the lock, and remove it. Next, unscrew the bolt just exposed using a 10mm socket, being careful not to drop it. Insert the key into the cylinder and pull it out of the door.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
