How to Reset the Service Light on a 2010 Honda Civic

Let’s see how to reset the service light on a 2010 Honda Civic. Insert the key and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.

Press and hold the reset button (located on the dashboard, near the instrument cluster). Continue holding it until the oil light (or the "oil change" message) starts to flash.

This will take about 10 seconds. At this point, you can release the button.

Press it again and hold it until the counter returns to zero (or displays 100%). The entire procedure should take no more than 30 seconds.
