Front Shock Absorber Replacement

Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle, securing it. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Unscrew and extract the retaining pins from the suspension arm using a spanner and push them out. Use some penetrating spray to facilitate the operation. Also disconnect the steering tie rod. Using a spanner and a ratchet, remove the suspension bolts and detach the shock absorber. Remove the protective cover in the engine bay and, with a spanner, unscrew the three bolts on top of the suspension. Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any debris with a wire brush. Using the appropriate equipment, compress the spring to allow for the removal of the old shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot. Refit the suspension to the vehicle in reverse order.
