Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle, securing it. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Unscrew and extract the retaining pins from the suspension arm using a spanner and push them out. Use some penetrating spray to facilitate the operation.

Also disconnect the steering tie rod. Using a spanner and a ratchet, remove the suspension bolts and detach the shock absorber. Remove the protective cover in the engine bay and, with a spanner, unscrew the three bolts on top of the suspension.

Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any debris with a wire brush. Using the appropriate equipment, compress the spring to allow for the removal of the old shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot.

Refit the suspension to the vehicle in reverse order.
