To perform this maintenance, you need specific clamps to compress the shock absorber spring. Lift the vehicle using a hydraulic lift and remove the wheel; then detach the bolts securing the shock absorber to the hub and the bodywork.

Position the shock absorber in the vice and compress the spring with the clamps; unscrew the upper support bolts and slide out the damper; loosen the clamps and remove the old spring. Slide the bellows off the damper and apply it to the new one; fit the new spring, compress it with the clamps, and secure the upper support after greasing it. Reinstall the suspension onto the vehicle.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
