How to Change the Engine Oil on My Honda Civic?

This video shows the method for changing the engine oil on a Honda Civic. The vehicle is lifted and secured. Newspapers and a collection basin are placed on the floor under the car, positioned beneath the oil sump. Using a ratchet wrench with an extension, unscrew the lower plug of the sump. The old oil will begin to drain; in the meantime, if necessary, you can change the filter. A small amount of new oil can be introduced into the tank while the old oil is draining: this will help clean out any residues. Now close the lower plug of the sump and proceed to pour in the new oil (approximately 4 litres). Check the level with the dipstick and top up if necessary. Finally, close the upper plug.
