How to Remove the Fairing Panels on a Honda CB500X

In this interesting video tutorial, you can see how to remove the fairing panels on a Honda CB500X to replace the motorcycle indicator. Start by lifting the seat of the motorcycle, then proceed to remove the side panel by taking out the fastening screws using an Allen key (be careful with the screw sizes, as they differ; the black one is smaller while the grey one is larger). Now, detach the side panel by unclipping the clips and pulling off the Velcro. To remove the panel, take out the fastening screws located at the side of the motorcycle and at the front (turn the wheel to the side for better access to the front screws). Unscrew the self-tapping screw found at the front and top of the motorcycle; once it reaches the end of its travel, simply pull, as these two clips will loosen, allowing you to slide it off. Remove the small panel located at the top (as shown in the video). Now, you can detach the panel by pulling it upwards and forwards to release the hooks. You can now work on the indicator.
