In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the oil life on a Honda HR-V by following some simple steps that will help you manage your vehicle independently. The first thing to do is maintain the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY maintenance, get into the vehicle, turn on the ignition, scroll through the settings menu until you find the oil life, at this point, press and hold the button located above the speedometer on the right for about 15 seconds; at this point, the oil life and percentage will start to flash, now release the button and then press it again. Reset completed. Turn off and restart the engine to verify the correct restoration of the oil life.
