It is advisable to periodically clean the filter before it needs to be replaced. The engine air filter box (also known as Air Box) is located just behind the battery compartment on the driver's side. Access the filter housing, unclip the tabs securing the cover to lift it and remove the old filter. Remove any dirt residue inside the container, then insert the new filter, ensuring the seal adheres properly to the edge, and finally close the cover with the appropriate clips.
