How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Hyundai Santa Fe

How do you remove the front shock absorber on a Hyundai Santa Fe? The first step is to loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Use a socket to unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber from the wheel hub. Now lower the car with the column lift and remove the air kit from the engine bay to unscrew the bolt on the side, then pull the shock absorber out of its housing. Remove/install the spring from the shock absorber using a suitable compression tool. Once everything is assembled, proceed to install the shock absorber back onto the vehicle: insert the shock absorber into its housing and reassemble all parts.
