Removing the gear shift knob of the Hyundai Sonata is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently that requires a few steps. First, put the gear in neutral and place your hand along the knob, rotating it slightly to the right and then to the left, lift the knob outwards with a firm blow. After removing the knob, you can perform the necessary maintenance and remove the gear shift boot. The knob assembly follows the reverse procedure, simply insert the knob by rotating it first to the left and then to the right, and pushing it inwards.
