How to replace the timing belt of the Hyundai

Model: Hyundai Hyundai Various
Part: Timing belt

Video tutorial

Today we will explain how to replace the timing belt of a Hyundai vehicle. The steps we will follow are the same for many models produced by the same manufacturing company.

To perform the replacement, we must first open the front hood and using a Torx key, unscrew the nut that secures the belt tensioner roller, thus removing the tension of the belt. We then remove the timing belt and proceed with the replacement by lubricating the new belt with oil; we insert the belt and tighten the nut of the belt tensioner roller.

After tensioning the belt, we start the vehicle's engine to test its operation.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
