How to replace the battery in the remote key fob of a Hyundai Santa Fe? Follow this detailed video guide. Take your remote key fob, and using a screwdriver, pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Pry until the cover pops open. Remove the plastic body and open it with your hands, extract the worn battery using a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the remote key fob.
