If the parking sensors on your Hyundai IX35 are not working, start with the simplest solution and then explore more complex ones: the easiest thing is to visually check that the sensors are clean, so clean them thoroughly with mild soap, dry them well, and then check on the multimedia screen if they are now functioning.

Another common issue could be a blown fuse: the fuse is located in the internal fuse box, which is in the driver's side glove compartment: consult your vehicle's manual (it should be number #11) and check if it is blown.

If so, replace it with an identical one. If the system activates but emits a continuous beep when you engage reverse, it is likely that a sensor is faulty: if you suspect a wiring issue, you will need to remove the rear bumper to visually inspect the cables and connectors.
