How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System on a Hyundai i20

When the TPMS warning light illuminates on the Hyundai i20 with the message "Check tyre pressure monitoring system", it means that at least one tyre has a pressure different from the recommended level. First, safely stop the vehicle and check all tyres with a pressure gauge, adjusting the pressure according to the values indicated on the label on the driver's side door pillar. After inflating or deflating the tyres to the correct values, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll through the central display menus: navigate to the "User Settings" screen, where the main onboard functions are collected. In this model, once the pressures are returned to the correct values, the system does not require a dedicated reset button: while driving, the TPMS ECU automatically reads the new values, the fault message disappears, and the warning light turns off. This way, the tyre pressure monitoring system on the Hyundai i20 is correctly reset.
