Replacing the battery in the remote for a Hyundai Tucson is a simple task. Locate the small release button on the key, press it, and extract the metal emergency blade.

Using a flathead screwdriver, pry open the remote shell. The battery is a CR2032, which is easily obtainable.

Remove the old battery using the screwdriver, taking care to note the orientation: the positive (+) side should face upwards. Insert the new battery and close the remote by pressing until you hear a click.

Reinsert the metal key and check the operation of the buttons. This is a quick job that takes only a few minutes.
