Replacing the Key Battery on a Hyundai Getz

Model: Hyundai Getz MK 1 - Years 2002-2011

Let's see how to change the battery in the remote key for the Hyundai Getz. Take your remote key and, using a screwdriver, unscrew the tiny screw on it, then, pry open the two parts of the plastic key cover with a screwdriver. Remove the worn battery from the battery holder, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing it until you hear it click into place. Screw the screw back into the cover. Check the proper functioning of the remote key with the operational buttons.
