Is the car's starter motor faulty? Here’s how to remove it on the Hyundai I10. Open the engine bay and disconnect the battery terminals. Disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, then remove the retaining bolts of the starter motor using a socket wrench and take it out of the engine bay. Fit the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and securing it with the associated screws. Reconnect the battery cables. Check if the new starter motor works.
