First, remove the protective caps covering some fastening screws: one is located inside the internal opening lever and the other inside the handle grip. Once the caps (which are pressure-fitted) are removed, unscrew the underlying screws.

Also, remove the triangular plastic trim located on the inner side of the external rearview mirror. At this point, unclip the pressure clips along the edges of the panel and pull it upwards to free it from the window seal; unclip the opening cable, the connector for the window switch, and the courtesy light connector; then remove the panel.
