Replacing the Pollen Filter

Model: Hyundai Elantra MK 4, HD - Years 2006-2010
Part: Cabin air filter

The pollen filter purifies the cabin air and is located under the passenger side glove compartment. Obtain a pollen filter identical to the original model, and to access it, remove the two internal side clips of the glove box and disengage the flap. The filter is located in the compartment behind the flap. Once the filter cover is removed, take out the filter by pulling it gently outward to avoid dust dispersal. To do this, place a cloth at the bottom to collect any dirt. Reinsert the new filter into the housing and close the cover carefully.
