Raise the car on a lift and remove the front wheel to facilitate subsequent operations. Remove the support bracket for the ABS and brake oil pipe and then the bolts fixing the shock absorber to the hub; access the engine compartment to unscrew the fixing pins of the shock absorber itself to the car frame; extract the shock absorber from its seat complete with spring and continue with the disassembly of the spring itself after having compacted it with the appropriate clamps; once the spring has been crushed, the upper support can be removed and moved to the new shock absorber to finally install it on the car.
