Replacing the Diesel Filter on the Hyundai IX 35 - Kia Sportage 1.7 CRDI

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the diesel filter on the Hyundai IX 35, as well as on the Kia Sportage with a 1.7 CRDI engine. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the battery, unscrewing the mounting bracket screw found at the bottom and disconnecting the terminals; then, disconnect the electrical connector of the diesel filter, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the diesel supply pipes and unscrew the mounting screws with a socket spanner to remove it and replace it with a new one!
