Removing and Replacing Brake Pads

This video shows how to remove and replace the front brake pads on your car. First, lift the car with the help of a ramp or jack, then remove the front wheel rims to easily access the brake pads. Start by unscrewing the bolts of the brake calipers to remove the pads; use a screwdriver to lever between the brake pad and the brake disc to retract the caliper piston. Once the piston is retracted, you can more easily remove the pads; after removing the old pads, install the new ones with the new fixing brackets and reassemble everything.
