How to Replace Brake Pads

The efficiency of the car's braking system is crucial for the safety of the driver and passengers. Once you have purchased original pads, you can proceed to replace the worn ones. Lift the car with a jack and access the brake calipers. Remove the wheel and the bolts that secure the caliper to the hub. Once the bolts are removed, you can detach the caliper from the disc without disconnecting it from the brake lines. To extract the worn pads, apply some pressure on them, using leverage in the space between the pads and the caliper.
