Then use a sharp object to pry off the rear cover of the remote. Underneath, you will find the compartment containing the battery, which you can remove by taking it out of its housing and replace it with the new one, ensuring the positive polarity is facing upwards. Reattach the rear cover and reinsert the emergency key.
