Replacing the Intake Manifold Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the intake manifold, ensure that the surfaces (both the cylinder head side and the manifold side) are perfectly clean, free of dirt and deposits that could compromise the seal and adherence of the gasket itself; once cleaned, insert the new gasket aligning it with the dowel pins (there is no need to apply gasket sealant), apply the intake manifold, and tighten the respective fastening bolts in a cross pattern using a torque wrench.
