The gasket of the exhaust manifold is made of metallic material since it must resist the high temperatures of the exhaust gases; even before applying the new gasket, carefully clean its seat, both on the head side and on the manifold side, to eliminate any residual dirt and encrustation that could compromise adherence and therefore the seal of the gasket itself. After cleaning, align the new gasket to the exhaust ports by inserting it into the captive pins; then apply the manifold and tighten the relative fixing nuts using the dynamometric wrench.
