If a wheel needs to be replaced, some precautions must be taken to avoid unpleasant problems; first of all, the tool kit (jack, wrench and warning triangle) and the spare wheel are located under the loading surface of the rear luggage compartment; even before lifting the car, loosen the wheel fixing pins without removing them, then apply the jack in correspondence with the special reinforcement rib under the crossbar under the door and lift the car until the tire comes off the ground; complete the disassembly of the pins, remove the wheel and apply the replacement wheel by screwing the pins by hand and locking them just enough to lower the car; once on the ground, tighten the pins with a higher torque.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
