Airbag Fault Light Reset

If the airbag fault light remains illuminated on the instrument cluster, it is essential to have a diagnostic tool, even a generic one, to read and check the fault memory of the relevant control unit. Connect the diagnostic interface to the OBD port, select the make and model of the vehicle, and access the airbag control unit to check the nature of the fault. If the faults are historical, meaning stored and not current, they may have been triggered by a false contact or a voltage drop, so after clearing, the light will turn off and there will be no faults in memory.
