How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter on the Hyundai Santro Mk3

This guide shows how to change the engine oil and filter for the Hyundai Santro Mk3. First, secure the vehicle and open the oil filler cap. From underneath the vehicle, use a 17 mm wrench to remove the oil pan drain plug and let the lubricant drain into a suitable disposal container. To replace the oil filter, remove the three 10 mm bolts that hold the air filter box in place. The filter is located at the front of the engine, near the radiator. Unscrew the old cartridge and install the new one with the lubricated gasket. Reinstall the drain plug and clean up any oil residue. Refill the reservoir with the correct amount of oil and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the fluid level and make any necessary top-offs.
