Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Replacing the engine oil and filter is typical DIY maintenance: dispose of the used oil at a designated collection centre. Position a container under the sump to collect the oil and unscrew the drain plug located just behind the sump. Once drained, refit the plug with a new washer and proceed to replace the filter. There is a specific hole in the splash guard that allows access to the filter for removal. Apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it into place without exceeding the tightening torque. Finally, fill the engine with clean oil until the maximum level is reached.
