Replacing the Remote Battery for the Hyundai Tucson

Over time, the battery that powers the remote for opening the doors of the Hyundai Tucson will deplete, and you will need to replace it. Press the button near the keyring to release the emergency key, and using a lever, preferably non-metallic to avoid scratching the plastic surfaces, separate the two halves of the remote, being careful not to lose the spring of the button. On the circuit board, you will find the battery compartment; slide it out from its seat and replace it with a new one, ensuring the correct orientation. Refit the board, join the two halves, and insert the emergency key.
