Always use a torque wrench for these operations. Start by bolting the cylinder head nuts on the sides of the perimeter and then in the centre. Apply the correct torque to each nut, tightening in order; all nuts must be bolted in the same manner. Take a reference point if you don’t have an electronic wrench and stop at that point.
