The EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) light that comes on in an Iveco engine is often accompanied by the engine light coming on, causing error codes P0110 and P0100 during diagnosis. There could be a problem with the injectors, fuel pump, or other components of the injection system.

The conditions of sensors, such as the crankshaft sensor, fuel pressure sensor, or temperature sensor, should also be checked. A clogged diesel particulate filter or a problem with the EGR valve could also cause the light to come on; the throttle body, which could be dirty or damaged, should not be overlooked either.
